Meta Steinfort Scholarship

The Meta Steinfort Scholarship is given to one or more students who are majoring in Spanish or double majoring in Spanish and Education. Preference will be given to students who have intentions of using their education to teach Spanish in some capacity. Qualified students will also hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 in coursework for the Spanish major, be a junior or senior by the start of the Spring 2025 semester, and have completed at least one upper-level (300 or higher) Spanish class at UWM.

Applications are typically accepted in November each year for payment the following Spring semester; students graduating in December are not eligible. For example, applications accepted in November 2024 are for the Spring 2025 semester and students graduating in December 2024 or January 2025 are not eligible.
