The Estate of Meta Steinfort

Meta Mary Steinfort was a Professor of Spanish at the Milwaukee Extension of the University of Wisconsin, one of the predecessor institutions of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She also served as chair of the department and was an active member of the Milwaukee community. As a member of the Zonta Club of Milwaukee in the 1950’s, she was recognized for her service and advocacy for the cause of empowering women. She died in 1974 at the age of 90.
