Meta Steinfort Scholarship
The Meta Steinfort Scholarship is given to one or more students who are majoring in Spanish or double majoring in Spanish and Education. Preference will be given to students who have intentions of using their education to teach Spanish in some capacity. Qualified students will also hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be a junior or senior by the start of the Spring 2024 semester.
Applications are typically accepted in November/December each year for payment the following Spring semester; students graduating in December are not eligible. For example, applications accepted in November 2023 are for the Spring 2024 semester and students graduating in December 2023 are not eligible.

- Letter of Recommendation: Please provide the name and email address of a former or current professor of Spanish who can provide a letter of recommendation on your behalf. They will be emailed and will upload their letter of recommendation directly to the portal. You may want to let them know to watch for this request in their email.
