Wisconsin Geological Society Scholarship

This scholarship is given to a student in geosciences who meets these criteria with preference given to a student who is an active member of the Wisconsin Geological Society for at least one year.

• Geosciences major or graduate student in Geosciences
• Demonstrated academic merit

Applications are typically accepted in January and February and are paid the following summer or fall unless a student is graduating in May. E.g. most recipients chosen in February 2024 will receive payment in summer or fall 2024.

There is a single common application for geosciences students to complete in order to be considered for all geosciences scholarships and awards.
