Florence L. Healy Scholarship

The Florence Healy Scholarship is open to students with research interests focused on women’s and gender studies. Eligible students will be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students by August 31, 2021 who will be enrolled full-time in the 2021-22 school year and who have demonstrated financial need. To demonstrate financial need, students must have a completed FAFSA on file that shows a need level. Students graduating in May 2021 or August 2021 are not eligible.

A minimum 3.0 GPA is required, and applicants should have completed at least one Women’s and Gender Studies course. A statement explaining your interest in women’s and gender studies is required as are two letters of recommendation. BE SURE TO LEAVE ENOUGH TIME BEFORE THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE NAMES OF YOUR RECOMMENDERS SO THAT THEY CAN FILL OUT THE RECOMMENDATION FORM BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

In addition, all applicants must have completed the Academic/Career Goals section of the General Application. You may go back and edit your General Application if needed.
