Lillian & Willis Leenhouts Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to any School of Architecture and Urban Planning student who has demonstrated academic merit and a holds a record of service to the School. Preferred recipients also fall into the following categories: demonstrates interest in the success of women and/or diverse communities, including their influences as they relate to the built environment; expresses forward ideas about the future of our profession, its roles and responsibilities; exhibits leadership potential and demonstrates the ability to be a positive ambassador for the scholarship; and seeks to explore alternative design philosophies that enhance and relate to the purpose of the scholarship.
Requirements for the submission include a portfolio highlighting one or two academic projects or related works (no longer than seven pages) and needs to be in the “print pdf” format to reduce document size. Note, the narrative weighs more heavily than the portfolio.
