Welford Sanders Memorial Scholarship

The Welford Sanders Memorial Scholarship was established by the Urban Planning Chapter of the UWM Alumni Association. The goal of the scholarship is to enhance the diversity of the urban planning profession within Wisconsin. The criteria for the scholarship are:

• Enrolled in a program leading to a degree in Urban Planning, and
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing racial equity as an urban planner. This future commitment can be demonstrated through prior lived experiences and educational, community, or employment activities.
