Mary McAndrews Scholarship

Awarded to continuing MLIS students in the School of Information Studies (SOIS)

Eligibility:

• Continuing students

• Particular emphasis on Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) students in the Public Library concentration or School Librarianship concentration

• Full-time or part-time enrollment

• School of Information Studies (SOIS) graduate students with financial need

• Preference will be given to students who graduated from a Milwaukee High School and/or are currently living in/serving the Milwaukee community

The following criteria must be satisfied:

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress in the Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) program

• Earn at least a B in all core classes

• Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0

• Students must also register for a minimum of 3 INFOST credits by May 1
