Salomon H. Flores Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Education who satisfy the following criteria:

• Academic merit
• Financial Need

A preference will be granted to individuals who demonstrate one or more of the following, listed in order of significance:

1. Demonstrated passion for a career promoting bilingual education for those in Spanish-speaking communities;
2. Demonstrated engagement with or service to an organization serving Latino/Latina/Hispanic communities;
3. Pursuit of a degree in Bilingual Education;
4. Pursuit of a degree in Community Education.
