2026 Southeastern Wisconsin STEM Forward Scholarship
STEM Forward will award one deserving high school senior in southeastern Wisconsin a $3,000 scholarship to pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or math_ degree at a two-year or four-year Wisconsin college or university. Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a graduating high school senior residing in the Milwaukee 7 area. (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine, Kenosha, or Walworth counties).
- Have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Attend a Wisconsin two-year or four-year college or university in the fall of 2026 and pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree.
- Your school or school district must have participated in at least one STEM Forward program (Ex, Future City Competition, Day of STEM, Engineering Machine Design Contest, Contrapt Wisconsin, etc.) in the past two years, OR you must have participated in one STEM Forward program in the past (eligible districts or schools available on application link). If you are a high school senior attending a southeastern Wisconsin school and have personally participated in STEM Forward programming in the past, you are eligible for the scholarship, even if your current district/school is not listed; however, you must explain this fact on your application.
- References must be submitted, and at least one of your listed references must be a STEM teacher or mentor. STEM Forward will be contacting references of selected finalists.
- Children of a STEM Forward board member or staff member are ineligible.

STEM Forward will contact only the references of selected finalists. The winner will be announced in May 2026.
