GFCW-WI Lakeshore District 2026 Scholarship Application

Scholarships up to $2,000 are awarded each year by the GFWC-WI Lakeshore District to Wisconsin students who are pursuing a career in the field of the arts, education and libraries, health and wellness, civic engagement, and environment.

The recipients of the scholarship will be notified by email and will be invited and honored at the GFWC-WI Lakeshore District Spring Annual Convention held in April each year. It is not mandatory to attend, but our members appreciate the opportunity to meet the recipients. The scholarship proceeds will be issued directly to the attending college.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a resident of Milwaukee or Ozaukee County, except for a child or grandchild of an active GFWC-WI Lakeshore District member.

Must be either a freshman, sophomore, or junior in an accredited four-year college, a first-year student in a community/technical college, or a student in an accelerated program leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college.

A child or grandchild of an active GFWC-WI Lakeshore District member may submit an application to attend colleges outside of Milwaukee or Ozaukee counties.

Applications must be received by March 15, 2026.
