2026 Non-Ferrous Founders' Society (NFFS) Scholarship

The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) is proud to offer the Mary & Louis Iannettoni Memorial Scholarship, supporting both students and incumbent workers pursuing education and training for careers in the metal casting industry.

Through this scholarship, NFFS helps connect talented individuals with the exciting opportunities available in non-ferrous foundries, cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals for our industry.

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to apply for a NFFS Scholarship:

  • Current employees of NFFS member companies enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a post-secondary certificate or degree program related to metal casting.
  • Students who have interned, worked, or been mentored by an NFFS member company.
  • High school seniors or post-secondary students pursuing technical or engineering programs leading to a career in metal casting.

What the Scholarship Supports

  • Tuition, fees, books, or tools for certificate or degree programs in areas such as:
    - Foundry technology
    - Metallurgy and materials science
    - Mechanical or manufacturing engineering
    - Industrial maintenance or mechatronics
  • Recipients can attend technical schools, community colleges or universities.

Requirements:
- Recommendation letter from an NFFS member company
- Essay describing your career goals and interest in the metal casting industry
Scholarship recipients will provide NFFS with a one-year update on their career progress

  • Please not: Applications without a recommendation letter and essay will not be considered.

Application Timing and Award:
The NFFS Scholarship award amount is $2,500. The scholarship deadline is April 20, 2026.
