The Gorilla Creative Film Scholarships

At Gorilla Creative, we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of filmmakers by offering both financial support and valuable industry connections. We’re excited to introduce the Gorilla Creative Future Filmmaker Scholarship, designed to empower the next generation of filmmakers and media creators.

Each year, we offer six $1,000 scholarships to talented students studying filmmaking or video production. The Gorilla Creative Future Filmmaker Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to talented students and foster innovative filmmaking.

Our scholarship doesn’t stop at financial support. Recipients also get access to a live 90-minute AMA with working filmmakers and producers. The discussion offers candid, first-hand perspectives on the craft, the business, and what it takes to thrive in today’s creative landscape.

Eligibility Requirements: This scholarship is open to high school seniors, college, graduate, or adult students. Applicants must be at least 18 years or older and, be a U.S. citizens, and be pursuing a degree or certificate in film, television, multimedia, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Application Deadline and Selection:
‍We accept applications year round and award scholarships twice a year in January and May. Applicants may submit a new application every twelve months.
