Helen Bader Age & Community Internship Scholarship
The scholarship provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in an internship or practicum in which they are working directly with the older adult population during the Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027 semesters.
Qualifying programs include, but are not limited to: Social Work, Psychology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Care Administration, Public Health, and/or Occupational Science and Technology

- Internship Information: This scholarship is intended for students who will be placed in internships in which the major focus of the work is the older adult population. Organizations hosting the student should offer services and programs for older adults, and students should be working in one of these programs. We are particularly interested in applications from students who aspire to work with the older adult population as a future career goal.
