Leonard Family Anthropology Fellowship

Purpose: Supports preliminary research outside the United States for graduate (preferably PhD-track) Anthropology students.
Eligibility:
UWM Anthropology graduate students, preferably pursuing a PhD • Proposed research outside the U.S. Obligations/Conditions:
• Submit a major external grant proposal (e.g., NSF, Wenner-Gren) by January 15 of the following year • Failure to submit will make recipient ineligible for future departmental fellowships (exceptions reviewed case-by-case)

Required Application Materials: • Current CV • Research proposal (max 1,000 words), including bibliography/figures • Faculty advisor recommendation (submitted through the Scholarship Portal)
