Schwertfeger Scholarship

Eligible students will study abroad in Germany or another German-speaking country in Summer or Fall. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, and preference will be given to German majors and minors, but any bachelor’s degree student taking German classes at the Milwaukee campus is eligible to apply.

Supplemental Questions
  1. Provide a short description of the study abroad program or international internship you will be participating in during the Summer or Fall 2025 semester that is outside of the United States. Include the time period you will be abroad (minimum of two weeks). You must have also been approved for this program through the UWM Center for International Education.
  2. Describe how your study abroad experience will help you meet your educational and professional goals. Include information about the specific program you will be attending and how that program relates to your goals.
