2025 Fearless Dreamer Scholarship by American Family Insurance and Milwaukee Brewers

American Family Insurance and the Milwaukee Brewers have established a scholarship program to assist Milwaukee, WI, area high school graduates and undergraduate students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Eligibility: Applicants to the Fearless Dreamer Scholarship by American Family Insurance and the Milwaukee Brewers must:

  • Live or reside in Milwaukee, WI
  • Be high school seniors or graduates attending college for the first time
  • Be under the age of 25
  • Plan to enroll in full-time or part-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

Dependents of American Family Insurance Enterprise employees and American Family Agency Owners and their staff are ineligible.

Selection: Scholarship recipients are selected based on:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation
  • Essay

Financial need is not considered.

Awards: Each year, five renewable scholarships are awarded, each valued at $2,500 annually for up to five years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, totaling a maximum of $12,500 per recipient. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by American Family Insurance. Internship opportunities may be offered to recipients.
