CSHEMA Dr. Fay Thompson Scholarship

Dedicated to the memory of nationally recognized Environmental Health and Safety expert and respected mentor, Dr. Fay Thompson, this scholarship is open to full-time undergraduates enrolled in majors geared toward an EH&S career – such as, but not limited to Environmental Science, Fire Protection, Health Physics, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Safety, etc.
One scholarship of $3,000.00 will be awarded to the qualifying applicant who submits the winning essay. Applicants will be asked to submit an essay describing an occupational health, occupational safety, or campus environmental issue relevant specifically to your university/college or community. Applications are due March 1, 2025.
