UWM Transition Grant

Awarded to students enrolled at UWM at Waukesha County in Spring 2025 who continue their education at UWM in Fall 2025.

• Students continuing at the associate level receive $500.
• Students continuing at or transitioning to the baccalaureate level receive $1000.

The scholarship amounts above reflect full-time enrollment (12 or more credits). Students who enroll part-time (1-11 credits) will receive 50% of the amounts listed above.

The scholarship is awarded for the 2025-26 academic year, and the amount will be divided evenly between the fall and spring terms. This scholarship is not renewable.

The scholarship will automatically be awarded to Spring 2025 enrollees from the Waukesha campus within two weeks of the student enrolling for Fall 2025 courses. No additional steps are required.

Award recipients who change their enrollment status after being awarded this scholarship (e.g., moving from part-time to full-time or vice versa) will be reviewed and have their award amount adjusted accordingly.
