Clark Dietz Diversity in Engineering Scholarship

Awarded to undergraduate College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS) students pursuing degrees who satisfy the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate junior or senior
  • Engineering major with a preference to civil and environmental engineering
  • Academic merit (minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is preferred but not required)
  • Financial need (preferred but not required)

Additional preference shall be given to either of the following:

  • Student(s) who contribute to the intellectual and cultural enrichment of the program because of their life experiences, including overcoming personal adversity or family hardship, records of extensive community service, or successful careers in other fields
  • Student(s) that demonstrate significant barriers to achieving higher education, such as experience in the foster care system, living in a single-parent household, having an incarcerated parent, or responsibilities for providing financial support or primary care for other household members
