African Diaspora Council Scholarship

Awarded to undergraduate students who clearly demonstrate significant engagement with or significant service to the African American/Black/African Diaspora community. Recipients must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate students who clearly demonstrate their significant engagement with or significant service to the African American/Black/African Diaspora community
  • Academic merit (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50)
  • Demonstrated financial need as determined by the UWM Financial Aid Office. FAFSA for the next aid year must be filed.
  • Enrolled in a degree-granting program
  • Junior and Senior standing

Students who self-identify as African American or Black are encouraged to apply.
