Dr. Alice Kuramoto Scholarship

Awarded to students enrolled in a graduate program leading to a degree in Nursing in the College of Health Professions & Sciences (CHPS).

A preference will be granted for students who demonstrate one or more of the following:

• Financial need
• Experience overcoming adversity or barriers to achieving higher education
• Experience interacting with Southeast Asian or Southeast Asian American cultures
• Understanding of the value of diversity in nursing professionals and/or researchers.

The scholarship may be renewable in future years.
