The Opportunity
Milton Friedman’s ideas, expressed in his work, Capitalism and Freedom, published in 1962 by University of Chicago Press, was written for the inquiring non-academic individual and brought to a mass audience through his TV series Free To Choose. Friedman’s ideas are being tested every day and will be the subject of debates and research for decades to come. They are ideas with no tie to a specific time, culture, or people. They have no association to any particular political party. They are ideas for improving human well-being through free market capitalism.
Capitaf perpetuates Milton Friedman’s legacy — creates a one-of-a-kind space for discussion and contemplation on the practical application of Friedman’s ideas to the many public policy issues with which citizens in a free society must grapple on a daily basis.
