Italian Study Abroad Scholarships
The Italian program at UWM offers two scholarship opportunities to Italian majors to facilitate study abroad to Italy or an Italian-speaking country.
The Paolo V. Iazzi Study in Italy Scholarship supports a UWM student accepted into an approved study abroad experience to Italy for Summer 2020 or Fall 2020. The recipient must be a declared Italian major. This $5,000 scholarship is intended to support the expenses of this educational experience.
The Giovanni Carini Memorial Scholarship supports a UWM student accepted into an approved study abroad experience to Italy for Summer 2020 or Fall 2020. The recipient must be a declared Italian major. This $1,000 scholarship is intended to support the expenses of this educational experience.

- Have you applied for approval for study abroad through the UWM Center for International Education?
- If you answered "no" to the question above, please explain where you are in the process of getting approved for a student abroad program or an international internship.
- Provide a short description of the study abroad program or international internship you will be participating in during the Summer or Fall 2025 semester that is outside of the United States. Include the time period you will be abroad. You must have also been approved for this program through the UWM Center for International Education.
- Describe how your study abroad experience will help you meet your educational and professional goals. Include information about the specific program you will be attending and how that program relates to your goals.
