School Social Work and Trauma (SSWaT) Certification Program Stipend (Bypass)

The Helen Bader School of Social Welfare has received a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction that focuses on increasing diversity and mental and behavioral health competencies in school social workers. The DPI-funded grant supports MSW students in the school social work track with a stipend.

Who should apply?

Any MSW student admitted to the program who meets the program eligibility and requirements.

Any individual with an MSW who is interested in being a licensed school social worker in Wisconsin.

Students of color, students from low-income communities, and students who speak Spanish are encouraged to apply. Increased diversity in school social workers is an objective of this program.
