Supplemental Questions
  1. Why have you chosen your major and what are your current plans for how you will use your degree after college?
  2. Students considered for scholarships all have strong GPAs. What makes you stand out from other applicants? Identify 2 to 3 things you have done outside of the classroom recently (within the past two years) to prepare for post-college life. Examples include, but are not limited to: research projects, internships, paid work, self-study of a topic of interest, leadership roles on campus or in the community, military service, volunteer work, study abroad, caretaking of a family member, etc. For each item you choose to list, briefly describe the activity, the time period it took place, and the value it provided to you as part of your educational journey.
  3. Please attach a PDF of your unofficial UWM transcript documenting your academic record. Upload PDF files only and name your file with your last name and the word “transcript.” For example, doetranscript.pdf or jonestranscript.pdf.
