Wisconsin Merit Scholarship

The 2017 Wisconsin Act 314 established a Wisconsin Merit Scholarship program effective until April 1, 2023. Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen and are:

1. Based only on merit.
2. For students who are enrolled in an institution and who have graduated from high school in this state.
3. Awarded based on performance on standardized college entrance exams and, if applicable, cumulative high school grade point averages.
4. Provided in the amount of $5,000.
