Rafi And Zohreh Scholarship
This $2,000 scholarship is given to a journalism student with senior standing as of the start of the fall semester. The recipient will have demonstrated academic merit (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA) and will have an appreciation and understanding of non-U.S. cultures and identities as demonstrated through personal background, study abroad, extracurricular activities, or other similar cross-cultural experiences. Financial need may be considered but is not required.
Applications are typically accepted in February/March and scholarships awarded are for the following fall; students graduating that same May or August are not eligible. E.G. applications accepted in March 2023 are for Fall 2023; students must not be graduating before December 2023.
