Greater Milwaukee Foundation Victor Vega Educational Scholarship

The Greater Milwaukee Foundation Victor Vega Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate a familiarity with the cultures of one or more countries of South America. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate familiarity with the Peruvian culture. Familiarity is defined as lived personal experience with Peru or other countries in South American, including but not limited to: growing up there, living there, traveling to South American, or conducting research there. Students without personal lived experience related to a country in South America will not be considered.

Students must also have documented financial need and be in good academic standing.

Applications are typically accepted in October and November and are for the following Spring semester. Students graduating that same December are not eligible. For example, applications accepted in October 2024 are for the Spring 2025 semester and students graduating in December 2024 are not eligible.
