Midwest Cyber Security Alliance Scholarship
The Midwest Cyber Security Alliance (MCSA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan collaboration of individuals, businesses, government entities, and professional firms advocating for more effective cybersecurity solutions. MCSA’s mission is data privacy and security through education, specifically, cyber preparedness and security awareness. The MCSA scholarship will support full-time, junior, and senior-level students enrolled in the School of Information Studies (SOIS) who are pursuing a BS in IST, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and have demonstrated financial need. Students who have completed or are enrolled in one or more of the following courses will be considered: INFOST 250 Intro to Network Systems Administration, INFOST 325 Information Security I, and INFOST 385 Information Security II. Preference for students who have an interest in a career in cyber security.
Scholarship recipient(s) are encouraged to become a member of the Midwest Cyber Security Alliance to network with local cyber security professionals and take advantage of mentoring opportunities; membership is free – www.midwestcyber.org
