The late Dr. Melvin H. Miller
Dr. Melvin Miller (1921-2010) was an inaugural member of the faculty at UWM and taught for more than 30 years. He was a proud veteran, serving as a signal officer of the USS Essex.
Impact
This scholarship was established to honor Dr. Miller’s contributions to the Department of Communication and his legacy of educating and mentoring many, many students.
