Norma Jean Larson
Norma Jean Larson is a retired social worker. Her mother, Stella Johnson Staunt, was keenly interested in helping disadvantaged young women with whatever needs they may have.
Impact
Norma Jean established this scholarship in UWM’s School of Education to honor her mother’s dedication to helping those in need. She is especially interested in recruiting and training under-represented and minority students to become early childhood and exceptional education teachers.
