Milwaukee State Teachers College Class of 1941
Members of the Milwaukee State Teachers College, the forerunner to the UWM School of Education, pooled their resources to help ensure future teachers had the support they needed for degree completion.
Impact
The donors are committed to securing the future of education through this scholarship fund, which was established in 2001—to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the class of ’41. It supports undergraduate students in the School of Education.
We in the SOE are particularly proud of this fund, as it is an enduring testimony to our SOE’s pioneering school. Graduates of MSTC are very proud alumni, dedicated to the field of teaching. As the early architects of our community’s educational landscape, they are committed to cultivating the very best teachers to follow in their footsteps.
