Since 1885, the Milwaukee Press Club (MPC) has provided professional development and camaraderie to members of the press community from around Milwaukee and across Wisconsin and is the oldest continuously operating press club in North America.
Impact
MPC created the Albert and Francie Silverman Scholarship to honor the late Albert Silverman, a businessman and Milwaukee Press Club supporter, in order to support undergraduate students pursuing a career in journalism at UWM.
