Michael T. Martin '85 & Cheryl Ungar
Michael Martin earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1985, majoring in Marketing. Michael is co-owner of Primeflex Labels, along with another UWM alum. Primeflex makes labels and packaging for consumer grocery products. Michael and Cheryl live outside Denver, Colorado.
Impact
Michael received an unexpected scholarship his senior year at UWM—it made a significant difference as he completed his studies, and he never forgot the impact it had. Cheryl’s father and Michael are both entrepreneurs who founded their own small businesses. The scholarship is designated for business students who demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship. As Michael puts it, “Someone I didn’t know helped me. I have no way to thank this person except to do this for someone else.”
