Kyle & Laura Stephens
Kyle started his career in public accounting and later worked in mergers and acquisitions. He joined Good City Brewing, helping it rapidly scale before the pandemic exposed a major industry challenge: small breweries lacked affordable packaging. Seeing an opportunity, he launched Craft Beverage Warehouse in 2020, initially distributing aluminum cans and later investing in direct-to-can digital printing to better serve craft producers. He credits the financial foundation he gained at the Lubar College of Business for enabling key decisions and continues to support the college while encouraging future entrepreneurs to follow their passions. He served as President of the Lubar Alumni Chapter board from 2018 to 2022 and currently sits on the UWM Alumni Association Board as of 2021 as Treasurer.
Laura graduated from Marquette University in 2010 with a degree in international healthcare. She got her master’s in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and started her career working in the prevention department of the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. She then joined the Wauwatosa Health Department in the spring of 2017 and is now the Director of the Wauwatosa Health Department. She is committed to advancing public health and advocating for health equity by building community partnerships and collaborating to achieve positive, lasting impacts.
