Kendall Breunig is passionate about saving great heritage places in Milwaukee. Historic preservation work at the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning has been an excellent complement to his professional activities. With the Bruenig Preservation Award he hopes to inspire a new generation of architects in Milwaukee who are sensitive to historic buildings and have the technical knowledge on how to reuse them in an appropriate way.
