Keith Spore and Journal Communications, Inc.

Keith Spore graduated from UWM in 1967 with a BA in Mass Communication. He began as an editorial messenger at the Milwaukee Sentinel while still a student at UWM. He went on to be the editor of the Milwaukee Sentinel at the time of its 1995 merger with the Milwaukee Journal. Keith Spore became the editorial page editor of the Journal Sentinel and soon thereafter the president of the Journal Sentinel, Inc. and senior vice president of Journal Communications until his retirement in 2004.
