John and Louise Hatton
Louise graduated from UWM’s forerunner school, the Normal School, in 1944. She was a pre-school and kindergarten teacher for much of her life.
Impact
There are many educators in the Hatton family, including at the college level. The Hattons wish to cultivate educators who will influence the lives of the youngest learners, setting them on the path to success. To achieve this goal, the Hatton scholarship was established to assist students enrolled in the early education program.
