Jeanne DeSimone Sieger '86 and William Sieger
This scholarship is established in loving honor and memory of Barbara Ruth Sieger by her brother William, his wife Jeanne, and other members of Barbara’s family who share her commitment to education. Jeanne DeSimone earned her masters of fine arts degree from UWM in 1986, and William and Jeanne’s son, Anton, earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Aspects of Conservation from UWM in 2004.
Impact
The donors seek to honor the memory of Barbara Sieger and her strong commitment to education. Barbara was born in Milwaukee in December 1941 and grew up in Kenosha where she graduated from St. Joseph High. Due to a birth defect, Barbara went through countless surgeries and was disabled all her life.
