In Memory of Jack F Reichert
The Viad Corporation, later MoneyGram International, established this scholarship in memory of Jack F. Reichert, a valued member of the Viad Board of Directors. Jack earned a certificate in marketing at UWM in 1957 and was a successful business executive, achieving the position of Chairman and CEO of Brunswick Corporation. He and his wife, Corrine, raised their family in Lake Forest, IL, and were active in their community. Jack was honored by the UWM Alumni Association with the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” in 1979. He served on the UWM Foundation Board and the School of Business Administration Advisory Council.
Impact
Jack was a participant in the Viad Corp’s Charitable Award Program, which makes a donation to an educational institution in memory of a director following his or her passing. During his lifetime, Jack requested that the gift be designated for scholarships in the UWM School of Business Administration.
