Lorin grew up in Milwaukee?s central city. He earned his Bachelor?s degree in Marketing from UWM and his MBA at the University of Chicago. He has gone on to a career in investment services, which included a leadership role with Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Impact
Lorin shares the story that as an undergraduate student he simply did not have enough money to pay tuition one semester, but Business School faculty and administrators awarded him a scholarship that allowed him to stay in school. His scholarship supports African American student from Milwaukee Public Schools who are interested in pursuing an education in business. The education I received at UWM had a profound impact on my career and my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward to other students like me.
