Greater Milwaukee Foundation Carrie Ehlers Memorial Fund
The underlying donor is the Express Carriers Association, and the scholarship honors the memory of former employee Carrie Ehlers who died in 2008.
Pamela Witt (BBA ’86) and Carrie Ehlers were friends and business partners who grew their Milwaukee company, Bonded Transportation Solutions, together in the period 1999-2008. Carrie, who never graduated from college, had been a national leader of the Express Carriers Association.
Impact
Carrie did not finish college but wanted her daughters to do so. When this award was established in 2015, one of her daughters was a current undergraduate student at UWM.
