Friends and Family of the late Joan Marie Milsap
Deona Mickens is a Senior Student Service Coordinator in the Student Academic Services office within the College of Letters & Science. She assists students in reaching their goal of graduation from UWM.
Impact
Deona, in conjunction with her siblings Desiree Ellison-Olheiser and Lavonne Milsap and her husband Brian Mickens, created the Joan Marie Scholarship to honor their mother by giving to their community just like their mother has done. They want to ensure that their mother’s gift of giving continues through them.
