Friends and Colleagues of Dave Edwards

This scholarship was created by friends and colleagues of Dave Edwards to honor his 35 year career as WUWM’s General Manager. Dave is a UWM alumnus who graduated with a BA in Mass Communication in 1975. He began his career with UWM’s Milwaukee public radio station in 1979 when he joined WUWM to create a professional news department. Under his leadership, the station has expanded its local programming efforts, community based fundraising and partnerships with many organizations in southeastern Wisconsin.
