Impact

Editha Nottelmann made this gift through her estate plan to honor her parents, Hans and Dorothea, who never had the opportunity to receive higher education. She also wanted to help other students achieve their dreams of higher education. She believed she received a great education at UWM, an education that she felt was almost out of reach because of her economic situation. She was able to earn the credentials necessary for successful graduate school applications, and ultimately a very successful professional career.
