Dr. Donald R. Shea

Dr. Donald R. Shea was a Professor Emeritus who was instrumental in shaping UWM before his passing in 2001. Dr. Shea was a 1994 Ernest Spaights Plaza Honoree, an award given to individuals who made significant, enduring and campus-wide contributions to the growth and development of UWM. He created the Donald R. Shea Scholarship in Latin American Studies to assist students pursuing academic work in Latin American studies through study and research abroad opportunities. Friends and family of Dr. Shea honor his memory through continued support of this Fund.
