Douglas & Rosemary Rossiter

Douglas and Rosemary Rossiter began their studies at UWM as non-traditional students. Douglas built on his business experience in the Milwaukee community as he pursued and earned his MS in Business. Upon graduation, Douglas worked in market consulting and eventually established his own consulting firm, which brought a unique approach to business-to-business marketing. Rosemary began to study economics at UWM and, with the completion of her PhD degree, was pleased to continue as an educator, this time teaching economics at the college level to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Impact

Education is key to advancing personal and family well-being as well as the vigor of the community. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is an outstanding research university in a metropolitan city, which offers academic opportunities that inspire students as they pursue their education and seek to contribute to their community. With this scholarship, Douglas and Rosemary hope to support students who can thrive in the academics of UWM, especially non-traditional students. They hope the scholarship can support both students studying economics and students studying business.
