Dennis Webb & Susan Webb
Dennis Webb earned his B.S. Degree in Materials Science at the UWM College of Engineering and Applied Science in 1971. Susan Webb earned her B.A. in Art History from UWM in 1973. Dennis began the first few years of his engineering career working at Koehring Company and A.O. Smith Corporation. Later he moved to another Milwaukee-based company, Cutler-Hammer (Eaton Corporation). At Eaton, Dennis was Supervisor of Quality Assurance & Testing in the Aerospace and Control Systems Group. He later moved to Orlando, Florida, to Lockheed Martin as Quality Program Manager for FLIR (forward-looking infrared) Ground Support used in F-14 combat missions. All of the above companies provided a great background for his move to Badger Meter, Inc. in Milwaukee.
At Badger Meter, Dennis served as Vice President of Quality Assurance, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and later Customer Solutions. He worked there for 28 years. After his time at Badger Meter, Dennis formed Sage Water, LLC.
Dennis and Susan are passionate supporters of UWM. They generously support the College of Engineering & Applied Science, and UWM Athletics, especially our basketball programs. Dennis has served on the UWM Foundation Board of Directors, and in 2023 received the UWM Alumni Association Exemplary Service Award.
Impact
Dennis and Susan Webb hope this graduate fellowship will assist graduate students in achieving their educational goals, and help the College of Engineering & Applied Science recruit and support outstanding engineers for its graduate programs.
