CVS Health Foundation’s Advance Practice Nurse (APN) and Physician Assistant (PA) scholarship program was created to help mitigate the impact of the ongoing primary care physician shortage in the United States. With more Americans living longer and fewer primary care physicians, the demand for highly skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants is only expected to increase. They are proud to support the most promising family nurse practitioners and physician assistants of tomorrow by providing scholarships through the CVS Health Foundation to accredited Colleges of Nursing and Physician Assistants schools across the country.
